Life Skills & Job Training Workshops
Our Life Skills workshops help families identify personal areas for improvement, and promote better self and family care with the goal of self-reliance. We aim to train our clients in appropriate and responsible problem-solving behaviors, so they may manage their personal affairs such as health, finances, parenting, mental health, nutrition, and social skills. We provide one-on-one time with our clinical wellness coordinator with (A LOT – GET REAL NUMBER), as well as connections to other resources that may contribute to their more stable and productive lives.
Workshops are open to all clients in the CHGM programs, as well as guests of Shirley’s Place. Fulfilling our mission of providing holistic services, our sessions cover the mental, physical, financial, emotional and social well-being aspects of self-reliance.
